Advancing Team Volunteers

All teams must provide at least 1 volunteer for a 4-hour shift during the tournament.
  1. Complete the Volunteer Form so that we know who your team volunteer is.
  2. Ask your team volunteer to sign up for a 4-hour spot in an Event - Concepts, Process & Inquiry.

  • PRIMARY VOLUNTEER:  Your volunteer MUST pick a 4-hour slot listed in the Events-Concepts, Process & Inquiry.  Your volunteer is NOT permitted to pick an Engineering & Application or Other Opportunities events until ALL of the main events are filled.
  • SECONDARY/EXTRA VOLUNTEERS:  You may pick any event to help with.  All teams at this point have fulfilled their Primary volunteer, so please feel free to select any event you would like to help in.

Your Role as a Volunteer

  • Events that are concepts, process, and inquiry would require you to assist the event supervisor proctor and scoring the event (answer keys are provided!)
  • Events that are Engineering and application would require you to help with measurements, timing, checking students in, and score keeping
  • You do NOT need to prepare or bring any materials
  • You MUST check-in 20 minutes prior to your event time on Saturday at Registration/Headquarters
  • You will receive a Team ISO tournament T-Shirt (at check-in).  This shirt is your identifier and must be worn while you are volunteering.
