Clinic Basics
Date: October 26-27, 2012
Friday: Registration 5:30 pm - 6:30 pm, Clinic 6:30 pm - 9 pm
Saturday: Registration 6:45am - 7:30 am, Clinic 7:30 am - 3:30 pm

The 8th Annual Great Lakes Coaches' Clinic will be held at Lyons Township High School in Western Springs. We invite coaches from Illinois and from across the country to attend this clinic.
The Coaches' Clinic is meant for coaches of every level. We have National Event Supervisors, State Event Supervisors, Regional Event Supervisors, and veteran coaches as presenters. Their goal is to help coaches understand how to prepare the competitors for individual events. Each year we try to cover every event in both B and C divisions with amazing presenters.
There are only 3 sessions Friday and 7 Saturday, so it is not possible to see all 23 events. We highly recommend bringing more than one coach and splitting up to see as many events as possible. In addition to events we also have a "Getting Started" session and a "Getting to the Next Level" session. There is a continental breakfast and lunch. During the eating time, we take the opportunity to fill you in on current State and National topics.

Online Clinic Registration Dates and Costs
Register by October 13: Friday only $45, Saturday only $80, Both $115
Register October 14 - October 24 (Midnight): Friday only $65, Saturday only $100, Both $135
Registration after October 24 will occur at the clinic registration desk and will be subject to an additional fee.
Payment can be by check, money order, or PayPal (additional fees apply).
The Clinic is only for adult coaches, either teachers or parents. No students or children will be allowed.
Please note: Registration for building events is on a First Come First Serve basis. In the event that too many people register for a building event, we will do our best to accomodate you into another building event.
Registration fee includes:
- Friday: Dinner, Workshops, Building Events
- Saturday: Continental Breakfast, Lunch, Workshops
- Misc: An official rules manual, Souvenirs, Raffles, Vendors, Science Olympiad Apparel and Supplies

Location: Lyons Township H.S. - SOUTH CAMPUS (4900 Willow Springs Rd, Western Springs, IL 60558)
Please use entrance 4 on South Side of Building
Parking: Available on the North and South side of the building
Directions
Take I-294 to Ogden Avenue East
Drive on Ogden through the light at Wolf Road
The second light is Gilbert Ave/Willow Springs Road, turn right (south).
Continue on South on Willow Springs Road (across railroad tracks and the light at 47th street)
The school is located on the block after 47th St - you will pass Walgreens, Garden Market and then Lyons Township High School on the west side of the street.

Clinic Schedule
- Friday night registration will begin at 5:30 pm. Joe Simmons will have some quick announcements around 6:10/6:15 in the north cafeteria and the first session begins at 6:25 pm
- Friday night's session includes a block of time for building structures.
- Saturday morning registration will begin around 6:45 am. There will be breakfast snacks and announcements in the north cafeteria and the first session begins at 8:00 am
